Rockwell Collins introduced today its iForce™ integrated public safety vehicle solution for law enforcement vehicles at the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference in Orlando. Initial customers for the system include the California Highway Patrol and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Rockwell Collins has successfully conducted UHF SATCOM and HF waveform Functional Qualification Testing (FQT) on the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) vehicular Ground Mobile Radios (GMR). This testing is conducted to ensure that the Software Communications Architecture compliant waveforms met all allocated JTRS requirements.

Rockwell Collins was awarded a contract for Electronic Counter-Counter Measure (ECCM) radio modules by Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL). The component hardware card sets will be integrated into ground-based Ultra High Frequency (UHF) radios for use by the Indian Defence for Command and Control of ground-to-ground and ground-to-air communications.
