BAE SYSTEMS selects Rockwell Collins displays for FCS Manned Ground Vehicles
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (June 12, 2008) - BAE SYSTEMS has selected Rockwell Collins to provide advanced displays to the U.S. Army Future Combat Systems (FCS) Manned
Ground Vehicle Program. The Common Crew Station Display will serve as the primary information display for the new family of
combat vehicles fielded as part of FCS. The initial contract is valued at $8 million.
"Our ability to leverage our advanced displays technology to ground vehicles in a cost-effective manner was a key to winning
this contract," said Bruce King, vice president and general manager of Surface Solutions for Rockwell Collins. "These displays
will provide our soldiers with enhanced situational awareness that will increase safety and effectiveness."
The Common Crew Station Display is a rugged 17-inch diagonal high resolution display capable of showing maps, video and other
information. A touch screen and optional bezel buttons facilitate user input and control. The Rockwell Collins Head Down Display

more than 45 high performance display designs for use in air and ground applications.
"This award furthers our commitment to supplying quality solutions for the U.S. Army's future force modernization," said King.
"Together with the FCS Integrated Computer System, the Joint Tactical Radio System and existing navigation and electronics
systems, Rockwell Collins is providing innovative tools essential to the warfighters' mission success."
