Rockwell Collins was recognized for the second consecutive year as a leader in fostering diversity and inclusion at a recent DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity® event in New York City. This year, Rockwell Collins came in at No. 43.
The company also made the DiversityInc Top 10 Companies for People with Disabilities list, coming in at No. 9.
Selection to the Top 50 list is based on corporate survey submissions that evaluate four critical areas of a company’s diversity management strategy: CEO commitment, human capital, corporate and organizational communications, and supplier diversity.
According to Joy Fitzgerald, director of Diversity and Workforce Effectiveness at Rockwell Collins, our inclusion on the list is a confirmation of efforts over the past seven years aimed at enabling a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
“It’s encouraging to see how our employees are taking ownership of diversity and inclusion at Rockwell Collins,” said Fitzgerald, noting we were selected from among 587 participating companies. “Their openness to share and incorporate the unique ideas, skills and experiences of one another exemplifies their commitment to delivering innovative solutions to our customers and strengthening our company.”
