DTU-7100 Data Transfer Unit (DTU)

Overview

Quickly transfer files to and from your aircraft or vehicle with the DTU-7100 data transfer device from Rockwell Collins. The device allows you to record and play back the video and audio using industry standard MPEG-2. And it has sufficient computing power and speed to serve digital moving map data directly from its compact flash memory cards, eliminating the need for storage elsewhere in the system.

The DTU-7100 contains four Compact Flash (CF) slots (two slots Type I, two slots Type I/II) removable storage, 1 USB 2.0 port, an internal processor card, two 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, two 10/100 Ethernet ports, a MPEG-2 video CODEC with RGB (synch-on-green) capability, one video input, one video output, audio CODEC, two analog audio inputs, two analog audio outputs and provisions for a user selectable RS-422/RS-232 interface.
