ADF-462 Automatic Direction Finder
Overview
A proven and reliable performer, the Rockwell Collins ADF-462 system consists of an ADF-462 receiver and an integrated loop and sense antenna unit. Pilots can tune the ADF-462 with a companion control and get maximum use of system features by using the Pro Line II™ CTL-62 and a Commercial Standard Data Bus (CSDB). You can also use a control or Flight Management System with ARINC 429 serial digital signals to operate the radio. Digital outputs are available on two ARINC 429 ports and two CSDB ports. The receiver provides an analog output for interface directly with an appropriate radio magnetic indicator.
