Overview
The Rockwell Collins AMS-5000 Avionics Management System provides you with advanced flight planning and navigation capability designed specifically for the mid-range business aircraft. Composed of the AMS-5000 and the advanced GPS-4000S WAAS-enabled Global Positioning System Sensor, the system offers ease of operation in today's complex and demanding operating environment.Its available functionality extends operational flexibility and enhances situational awareness through such capabilities as: full flight phase, multiple waypoint vertical navigation; databased Departure Procedures, Standard Terminal Arrival Routes and approaches; and an integrated Electronic Flight Instrument System and radar control. The GPS-4000S provides the integrity and monitoring to operate in today's airspace and supports growth to precision approach certification.
